Answers to the most frequently asked questions when it comes to family and child portraits.
During our design consultation, we will go over wardrobe options. Coordinate, don’t match is a good rule of thumb. Solid colors and simple patterns are best. For girls, we have a large selection of couture gowns to choose from.
Family sessions can be done year-round but I do recommend keeping an eye on the weather. When the foliage is full on the trees, or in the Spring during wildflower season, those are some of the best times in Texas to do a family session.
Don’t worry! We are experts at posing you to perfection. From the top of your head to the tips of your toes you will feel confident in how you are posing during your family portraits. We also have a few tricks up our sleeves when it comes to master fine art retouching. As a Dallas family photographer, we have gained lots of experience in setting people at ease and creating memorable, stunning portraits. From formal family portraits, to relaxed, natural posing, we do it all.
We love the puppies! You know how well your dog listens and if bringing them to the park or studio will work for your pup. We can remove collars and leashes in photoshop, and we often use photoshop to assist with posing dogs with their humans too.
We offer full glam studio sessions and on-location options throughout the metroplex. Some locations are tried and true favorites but we are happy to try your special location as well!
