Pretty in the City – with Dallas Family Photographer Mod L Photography

When my clients come to me to plan their session I like to take the sky’s the limit approach. With a city like Dallas offering up amazing locations, we have a ton of options. Not to mention my extensive studio wardrobe of gowns. Put the two together and you get a winning combination.

What do you get when you mix glamorous gowns and city lights?

While planning this shoot my client and I came up with the idea to combine urban locations with classic gowns. The girls and mom first started out with a selection from their own wardrobe.

We visited the lovely Winspear Opera House first. One of my favorite locations in Dallas. It offers an incredible architectural backdrop and reflecting pool.

Next, we struck out into the streets of historic downtown Dallas.

Finally, we ended on a rooftop overlooking the skyline for these majestic portraits.
